The present Sustainability Report is a strongly desired document by the Company, which has decided to draw up for the first time. Si tratta di una comunicazione volontaria, poiché ITAflon non rientra nel novero dei soggetti obbligati all’applicazione del D.Lgs. 125/2024.
The objective of the Report is to present ITAflon’s progress on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues in a clear and transparent manner and to outline its contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda.
This document aims to build a bridge of communication between the inside and outside of the company in order to strengthen relationships with stakeholders, who are key to success.
The reporting scope adopted in this first edition mainly refers to the Italian company ITAflon, based in Italy. The activities, impacts, and risks associated with investee companies – such as ITAflon Jiashan (China), ITAflon UK, and offices/partners in the United States and Brazil –
are mentioned solely for the purpose of providing a clearer and more complete picture of ITAflon’s international dimension, but are not currently included in the ESG reporting presented here.
The information provided refers to the 2024 financial year. Where available, data referring to previous financial years has been included in order to present the company’s performance trends.
ITAflon has prepared this document in accordance with the Basic Template and the Full Template of the VSME standards (“Voluntary Sustainability Reporting Standards for non-listed SMEs”), the new voluntary standard developed by EFRAG specifically for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises.
